Happy Independence Day From Frosty Garden!

Happy Independence Day, everyone! We hope your holiday is going well and that you’re spending good time with friends, family and good food!

We like to use this holiday to reflect on how lucky we are, that we live in a land of freedom and prosperity. One where we can work hard and keep our output for ourselves. A place we can hold and own land, use it to our own means and ends, for the purposes that we each see fit. The American experiment has been so successful and impactful that nations around the world seek to emulate a similar quality of life for its people.

Truly, it was the American experiment that shifted the world from Feudalism and indentured servitude into one of local governance, private land ownership and individual liberty. That’s fundamentally what allows us, without interference, to grow our own food. We can use our property to increase our wealth and means. We can pursue things that can uniquely inspire happiness.

Some days, we feel like we all sort of lose sight of what it means to be an American and what our rights to “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” actually mean. This holiday is our reminder and it’s so much more than barbeques, fireworks and good old red, white and blue.

So, as we scarf down those burgers and maybe shoot off some fireworks later, give some thought to your own personal liberty and how you use it! It’s quite possibly the most important thing we have!

We are going to keep today’s post short and sweet. But, we hope you all are having a great day on this wonderful American holiday! And if you’re checking us out from outside the US, thanks for following us! We appreciate all of you!
